This is a Neighborhood event for all Girl Scouts, traditionally held during “Girl Scout week” in March.

Songfest 2010 - Punk Paws and Rock Claws!

Please join the Songfest 2010’s tribute to the animal world and its musical scales (!).

What’s new pussycat? Well, the lion sleeps tonight. Or perhaps the itsy bitsy spider has dropped down onto the eye of the tiger, after catching several ‘Beatles’ in its web. Cat Stevens knows what ‘the Monkies’ and the Chipmunks’ are doing. But we don’t, because we’re nothing but a hound dog.

Contributions

In keeping with theme of animals, Jr Troop 12 is organizing a collect for the SPA shelter at Orgeval. This is a non-profit, non-public-funded animal association which relies on donations. If each scout could consider bringing to the Songfest just one item, this would offer much help for these abandoned animals.
Items needed are:
Cat food, canned or dry. (no dog food).
Blankets (used, all sizes).
Towels large and small & "gants de toilette" (used).
Toys for cats and dogs, especially stuffed animals, used tennis balls and soccer balls.
Scratching posts (used) for cats.

Reminder: Each person attending Songfest should bring 2 cupcakes to contribute to the snack buffet. The beverages are provided by the Neighborhood. Please wear sneakers no heals or shoes are permitted in the gym. 1€ donation for the Juliette Gordon Low Fund.

Girls Scouts 14 years old and older please bring your completed election ballot. It will be collected at check in.
